DI Basketball spots suddenly open

Just saw this press release. Boise State University lost their top recruit in a coaching transition. The article says they still have two basketball scholarships available- commitment date is May 19th…

Ahh, but it’s in Boise…

^^paradise…don’t tell anyone…

It’s not for everyone: not very academically selective, but still holds on to some of the state’s best graduating high school students, either because they love the state, it’s a bargain, or both. For kids who like to ski/snowboard, backpack, run rivers, mountain bike/road bike, rock climb, and so on, you can’t beat it.

DI positions coming open late are not that unusual. I personally know two boys who got their offers in the summer after their senior years.

EMM1, thanks…I had no idea-
