<p>got an email yesterday from the College Board website telling me that Dickinson wants more financial info through IDOC, and the due date is 4/15. As this date is beyond the admissions notification date, any ideas as to what this means?</p>
<p>at least your due date is in April. My D’s IDOC email says they want it by March 1, and we can’t do our taxes until March 4 because some of the necessary forms won’t be available until then.
Although she was accepted to Dickinson EA, one of the schools listed as needed IDOC is one she has not heard anything from, so I’d say doesn’t necessarily mean anything as far as admissions is concerned</p>
<p>It seems to me that a college wouldn’t go through the extra effort of getting the additional financial info unless they had some interest in the applicant. Then again, this whole process has an Alice-in-Wonderland quality to it, so who knows what the colleges are thinking or why they want the info they ask for!</p>
<p>I hope it means something, because I too got an IDOC request for March 1st.</p>
