<p>I posted on a thread yesterday, that I can no longer find. The thread just disapeared!! Ive searched, looked at my previous posts, cannot find. Now im not sure if Im crazy. Maybe those of you can either verify or not if there was a thread about a 20 year friendship between 2 couples that now the OP was questioning whether they should continue the friendship because the other couple kept making racist remarks in their presence. </p>

<p>Yes, the thread disappeared, as did a thread earlier today where the OP asked about the original thread. Soon this thread will disappear. CC is a spooky place :).</p>
<p>I really wish that threads that the mods wanted to stop would be locked, not erased, and that the mods would remove individual posts that they objected to.</p>

<p>I think our mods work very hard to keep threads civil via modifications and try to allow us to discuss. But sometimes I think it is overwhelming.</p>
<p>Yes, thank you. It would be nice if the Mods would close the thread with a final post reminding everyone why it has been closed, rather than remove them. It becomes a learning opportunity.</p>
<p>In this case, there was too much editing required to warrant closing rather than deleting.</p>
