A simple admission email like that of Exeter’s would have taken care of this heartache?
You don’t check acceptances on Gateway.
The Andover admissions portal is not opening for me. It’s like the connection times out.
"As a reminder, Phillips Academy admission decisions will go live tomorrow, March 10th at 5:00 pm (Andover time), via the Andover Online Decision Portal. Applicants will access the online decision portal using their Gateway to Prep Schools log-in credentials. If you do not remember your username or password, please click here. "
That’s the same email I’ve received several times. It keeps timing out and the one time it didn’t time out it said “No decision has been submitted on your account.” I was not holding out much hope since no FedEx came, but a little closure for the day would be nice.
@mrnephew It’s a new thing this year.
I logged in at 4:50 and my letter was up. I guess I beat the crowd…

Keep trying the admissions portal - it took me 3 tries but I just got in to see the “no thanks” decision for my kid.
And as we were trying we also got an e-mail from Andover saying that they apologize for the difficulty in accesing the decisions portal:
"We understand that many of you are attempting to log-in to view your Andover admission decision. Unfortunately, due to the very high volume of log-in attempts, the system is experiencing a delay. We apologize for this inconvenience, and hope to remedy the situation as soon as possible. We are working with our vendor to reset the server.
Thank you so much for your patience and we sincerely apologize for the delay"
