<p>We got more merit money for our d by following our college consultant’s advice and appealing the decision by showing them the award letter from what they consider to be a direct competitor (that seemed to be the key). They responded the same day with more money. Good luck.</p>
<p>dreampoet - are you talking about USC, or are you speaking generally? I do not see any mention of your daughter applying to USC in your past posts, and to my knowledge USC does not match merit offers of other schools.</p>
