Did anyone just use the BB math section and score over 700?

I know most people recommend not to read the content sections of the BB, but the math section in the BB looks very thorough and similar to the math section in PR. In contrast, the math section in Barron’s looks complicated.

I was wondering

1) whether any of you who scored over 700 on the math section read the math section in the bb and only used reference books to review questions you did not know.

2) How good is chapter 8 in Barron’s - it covers general math strategies

3) Is it a good use of time to read the entire Barron’s chapter 9 or is it better to use it only as a reference

Contrary to common derogatory remarks, I can honestly say I benefited immensely from Barron’s in every section.

Despite my failures in my other subjects, I never felt the math section was difficult. I can ace the section without much effort. I can tell you that if you finished Geometry in highschool, it won’t be difficult… Maybe that’s just me. Just give yourself enough time when you solve math section and soon you’ll finish math section fairly quickly…

I’m tell you that SAT is more about how many practice tests you took than how much you already know. Literally, with enough practice, you’ll know what the questions ask for at a glance.
