hey i gave the may 2nd sat n i checked all my math answers with the discussion on cc n i made no mistake…maybe just one wrong…n i got a 710…did anyone else expect a 800 and not get one?
BUT i did errase two answers and rebubble them…so i think the machine dint read them n they were considered as wrong answers …i’m plannin to send my scores for a mannual evaluation…
i need your opinion people!!!help please
also did anyone fall into such a situation where eraser marks lost u a 800? or sumthin tht sort?
does mannual evaluation result in any change?

Maybe you did make a few dumb mistakes. It happens. I got my scores too and I still have trouble believing they’re true, but I’m just waiting for May 30…

The curve this time was REALLY nice… -1 was still an 800. If you got a 710, it’s definitely not due to an error by CB. I was expecting a 770-790, and got an 800, so I’m not complaining.

yeah, go ahead and tell collegeboard how all of the people you discussed the questions with afterward told you that you would get an 800. im sure they will admit their mistake

You know, this phenomenon happened to me too. I too rebubbled some stuff, and got only 690 after checking over EVERY math question twice, and skipping only one. i was sure i had an 800… but this is bull**! it’s possible the machine was being a whore. I would also like to add that for the March test, I had skipped about 5 and was not confident of half my answers, and got 670… but my new score looks as if i got only one more question right! does anyone know if the score report (which i ordered) will tell me the answers to each question, and also, do i lose points for only bubbling in the right answer in the free response but not putting the numbers above the boxes? Thank you, as i am equally *ed and flabbergasted.

I thought I only got -1 (on a grid-in), but I guess not since I got a 730.

When I went through the answers on the discussion here I thought I had all of them right aside from that one. So I’m surprised that I got a 730.

But I have a feeling that I just made some silly mistakes… and maybe I remembered some of my answers incorrectly when checking here.

I have a feeling collegeboard didn’t make a mistake, but none the less, I’m looking forward to seeing the score report just so I can see what I ended up getting wrong. I’m curious.

@Rishmeister: I believe QAS tells you the answers and which ones you got wrong. Whether or not you fill in the little boxes above the grid-ins doesn’t matter; only the bubbles are graded.

On the January SAT, I skipped a problem and answered everything else correctly but only got 790.

ok ppl…thanks for responses…but i need to find someone who got ALL the answers right based on the discussion on cc but dint score well…how many questions d’ya think wud i have got rong? its a 710 …

@ Bigb14 - wht d’ya mean by its not definitely due to an error by cb?

haha this made my day.

you probably screwed up. I’d move on and work towards the next SAT

I am new to this sat testing however i just read a interesting comment and I was wondering if it correct.

It is true that all you need is to bubble in the answer in the free-response part instead of bubble in and write down the answer.?
