The real scandal is that ABC sat on the story for years and more underaged girls were harmed by Epstein and his crew.
The concept of “innocent until proven guilty” only applies to government action and not to personal belief. The state cannot punish a malefactor for a crime until after he/she has been duly convicted. But we as individuals are perfectly free to believe whatever we wish about some accused person.
Ok.
He didn’t do anything wrong because…
-He was incapable of sweating.
-This was due to the adrenal rush of being shot at during the Falkland battle in the 1980s. But now he sweats easily (especially following the perverts hanging )
-He isn’t sure that it is actually his hand on the teenager’s waist in the picture. And the picture can’t be verified as, you know, a picture.
-He never went upstairs at the the madam’s house but knows it’s upstairs.
-He needed to visit, sleep over and attend a dinner party with a convicted sex offender to tell to the sex offender to “piss off”
-He would have to remember being proactive and take a positive action to have sex with a teen
-He doesn’t recall any massage
-He doesn’t drink and doesn’t recall ever buying a drink at the night club
-He isn’t sure how to find the bar at said nightclub.
-He needed a stroll around Central Park to de friend the sex predator, a call wouldn’t do.
-Its his deep sense of honor to break up with his buddy in person. Being a Prince of England and all.
-he wasn’t there the other time because he stayed with the diplomat who says you weren’t there.
-the other visits to Miami where because you were passing through on your way to Washington
Oh I get it, here comes the backup with he fell asleep and she did it to him unwittingly. Or he handed over the drink someone else purchased (Like always I bet) and was he very dry at the time.
Just admit it and make proper amends.
? Classic @privatebanker (#42)
Also, @roycroftmom brought up an interesting point:
Without any legal charge, what exactly is the accusation? I’m confused, and seems like a couple others may be also.
The victim says she was forced to be with PA by Epstein and his girlfriend, but my knee-jerk interpretation is that they told her to please PA outside of PA’s presence, so from PA’s perspective, he sees this beautiful 18-year-old that seems to like him and all is seemingly well.
But as it turns out, she was only 17, which is the age of consent in NY…but below the age of consent in Palm Beach (18).
Does this mean the only possible crossing of the law was in Palm Beach?
I’m not even sure the statute of limitations hasn’t been triggered.
It’s not really a legal issue. He’ll never be convicted in a US court. No way.
It’s a moral and financial issue. He might have made some highly problematic and harmful decisions. And they can only be remedied with the truth and proper restitution. Followed by a life of living for positive change and being part of powerful movement against human trafficking and abuse of minors. Even if he skirted illegality in a technical sense.
The firm is going to face a restructure LOL. Really, it is time it was privatized if it is such a successful enterprise. All I know is that MM must be delighted that Randy Andy is taking up all the vitriol of the moment.
In the now infamous picture of PA with his accuser and Maxwell, everybody looks to be having an excellent time - each of them have big, broad, open smiles, and nothing about that picture, suggests to me, something may be amiss
I am not entirely convinced…
So based on all the pictures of gorgeous starlets with big, broad, open smiles looking like they’re having an excellent time with Harvey Weinstein are an indicator Weinstein wasn’t a predator, either?
Haha, “Randy Andy”
I remember when I was in high school and college, Andrew was kind of the Prince William and Harry of the day. My sister had a huge crush on him and so did some friends of mine. I thought he was good looking back then, but recently he hasn’t done anything to make himself look good. He seems very arrogant and attention seeking.
He definitely seems very arrogant, and these days, he looks quite like Henry VIII, LOL!
The “Princes” available to (dream about?) marry in my age group were Andrew, Albert of Monaco, and JFK, Jr.
Only JFK, Jr. remained Princely.
It’s easy to remain Princely if you die at 39.
