Did/Can You Get Accepted Without AP or IB Classes?

Hi,
I am currently homeschooled and the curriculum that is offered does not include any AP or IB classes. They do let you have an option as to which diploma you would like to receive once you graduate. The diplomas include: Vocational, College Prep., and Honors. I will be graduating at the end of next month with an Honors diploma. Is it very likely to be accepted into Harvard or any Ivy League college with good grades, good SAT or ACT scores, and some college courses? I am currently fifteen years old if that changes anything.- DOB: 5-24-96. Also, the college courses will be starting on May 14, 2012. I will have to register in April for the summer sessions (This is a technical college). One other thing, I do have several volunteer and community service work hours completed. Side Question— How many and what kind of classes will I be able to take without having to be classified as an official transfer student? I do realize how hard it is to be accepted with being a transfer. Please remember that the college courses will not be taken during high school. Additional Information— The homeschool administration that I am currently enrolled under is fully accredited. My race is mixed- Asian and White American. Also, I was adopted when I was 8 months old and I have no idea as to whom my biological parents are and I have zero affiliation with the Asian culture because America(n) is all I have ever known. I will be going to college to be an Anesthesiologist. On July 6, I will be going to the D.R. (Dominican Republic) for 7-8 days with many members that are apart of my church. We will be building a school and a church for those who do not currently have one established for themselves. I will start applying to various colleges, including Ivy Leagues, during October so I will be considered as an Early Decision applicant for Fall of 2013.
Thank you for taking the time to read and answer!

Being fifteen is problematic, to be frank. Ivies will question your ability to add to the larger community. I don’t know Harvard’s rules but Yale does not accept anyone who does not turn 17 sometime during the freshman year.

Without your SAT/ACTs or outside assertions of your academic qualities, it’s impossible to consider if you are a viable candidate or not.

Also, you should get your facts straight. No one becomes an Anesthesiologist out of college in the USA. If you are planning on attending a US university, then you should follow the pre-med track. Upon graduation, you will then apply to medical school. At the point of your 3rd 4th years, you will have options to specialize.

At this point, your ECs are quite bland in comparison to competitive H applicants.

I do understand the process that it takes to be an Anesthesiologist. I stated that so people would know what I would be working towards in my life. By the time that I start applying, I will be sixteen years old. Depending on acceptance for Fall of 2013, I will then be 17 years of age. Yes, you are very frank… thank you for the reply though. Also, I realize how the way that I had the Anesthesiologist part worded could be very missunderstanding. My apologies for that.

No worries. Often misinformed students post “premed” questions on CC. Best of luck to you. Knock out those SATs or ACTs!
