I did horrible (for my standards ) on the May exam. So the only positive I could find was that I recognized a lot more of my mistakes during the actual exam as opposed to practice tests!

Here is my self diagnosis:

Essay: The prompt was easy and I had come up with 3 great examples to effectively support my arguement.
-Unfortunately I realized that I write WAY to slow and only managed to do two (though long) paragraphs and only managed to write 1 page and one line. I was so upset because I had come up with a really good argument. So any tips on how to write faster would be helpful.

They psychological effect of that horrible essay really impacted my first four sections. My first math section was fairly easy. It was much easier than I thought it would be and when I double checked, I found two careless errors that I fixed.

And of course that had to be the experimental section. ):<

The second math section I completely bombed. I mean I had no idea how to do problem in the 10-14 range ( the section had 20 question) and left a lot of things blank.

The other math sections were easier , but I didn’t finish .

The writing seemed easy but I didn’t get up to the essay with errors portion.

The Reading Section was so easy ,I wanted to cry. Unfortunately I realized I couldn’t read fast so I didn’t finish the section with the dancer. (which is odd because I can usually finish a 500 page book withing 3-5 hours)

The vocab was moderate, and I recognized A LOT of words from Direct Hits which I skimmed so I’ll just study that for October.

I really don’t want to waste too much time and wait for my scores because I did a lot of studying this week and once I relax, it’s hard for me to get back in my “studying mode”.

And does anybody know how to get a hold of more (collegeboard ) practice tests? I did all of the ones in the Blue Book

Any tips to read and write faster are also appreciated and thanks in advance!
