I’m pretty sure you did. My cousin who works on the admission committee at the University of Michigan (who’s house I’m at right now) says probably so =)

75% of students at UW have a 1970 or lower on the SAT. I think my scores my stand out. My year of volunteer work was done with City Year (acceptance rate for applicants is 25%) in Seattle. My recommendations (supplement) detail what I had to go overcome during high school (prolonged absences), my grades improved by each quarter from junior year on.

I know it isn’t considered, but with AP credit/online courses/summer courses, I’d have 30 credits by the first day of the Fall quarter at UW (meaning I would have sophomore standing by the Winter quarter).

I dont know much about UM or UV, but for UW I think you’re a shoo-in. Your SATs are well about their average and they have a pretty good admissions rate.

Your SAT score is great, your GPA is sort of low. You EC’s are strong. In for UVermont, not sure about UWash, UMich is a sort of a reach, though it all depends upon your essays and teacher Rec’s.
