I’m transferring without any calculus finished. and I’ve got 3 calc classes for to complete for preqreqs. How much did i screw myself?

What’s your major? What schools are you applying to? Have you completed at least one transferable math class?

Yeah I’m really curious which UC accepted you for which major with 3 calculus prerequisites unfinished? You’re simultaneously extremely lucky and extremely unlucky…

^^^Seconded!

Well I guess it depends on if you take summer school or not…and how many of your major requirements need all 3 classes. If you take summer school classes, you can complete all 3 classes in a year and then you’ll have a full year to complete your major requirements. My major only has 32 units of upper div requirements, which could be completed in a year. Also, if some of your requirements don’t need calculus or only need 1 or 2 calculus classes, then you could take them while still completing the series and then you should be fine.

What’s your major and which UC are you transferring to?

@OP, You could be in a very deep hole. If you need to take 3 Calculus courses as pre-requisites you are probably a Physical Science or Engineering major who needs Calculus I, II and III. Calculus is sequential, it is not possible to take more than one of these courses at the same time or out of order. Each Calculus class is a full semester so you are talking about a year and a half to finish the sequence under the best of circumstances. However under current circumstances, with the budget problem, lower division courses like Calculus I, II and III are difficult to get into since you will be competing with a large number of freshmen and sophomores at the UCs who also need these courses for a limited number of seats. The system is designed so that CCC transfers will take these courses at their community college and go directly into upper division classes in their major when they reach their UC/CSU.

Since you have no Calculus done yet and need to finish it before you take your upper division classes I do not see how you can finish at your UC within the two year time limit. If you are going to UC Berkeley you have a real problem because unlike the other UCs they strictly enforce the two year maximum for transfer students to complete their studies.

I’m also want to know whats your major and which school did you get in.

He/she vanished and we will never know, they will become a CC legend now
