Did I just kill my chances at UCLA?

So I just got my SAT scores from Oct 11 (2nd attempt) and I got 20 points less than before…

First attempt:
Critical Reading: 590
Math: 670
Writing: 670
Composite: 1930

Second attempt:
Critical reading: 620
Math: 660
Writing: 630
Composite: 1910

How bad does a 20 points decrease look? UCLA is my dream school, and I’m worried this might destroy my chances

Are you instate or out

I am instate

Well, you’re within the middle 50%. http://www.aim.ucla.edu/pdf/UGProfile13-14.pdf</a> The rest of your application will have to make up for that.

I have a pretty good amount of varying extracurriculars, so hopefully they make up for my average scores, but I’m just wondering how bad the score decrease will look to admissions people?

They will use the higher score. Don’t worry about the decrease.

Do the UC’s require all SAT scores to be submitted? Or will they see all my scores?

Google is your friend.

Don’t worry about a 20 point decrease. If you had a 200 point decrease, they might take that into consideration.

Also, if you’re in-state, then have your GPA and extracurriculars make up for it.
