My test scores are so:
PSAT: 221, potential NM finalist
APs: American Hist:4, English:5, Latin (Vergil):4
SAT I: V 780 M 690
SATIIs: writing:750, math IIC:700, french:760, chemistry:600 (!)
Yeah, I have an A in AP Chemistry, but I somehow managed to panick on the SAT II and totally messed up. I’m depressed because I want to double-major in geology and art, and I applied to the School of Science!
If the College of Science reviews my application, will they even consider my french SAT II score, or am I doomed because of chemistry?
thanks, anyone

Maybe I’m missing something…

Don’t you only have to submit 3 SAT II scores?
So hopefully you did writing, french and math.
And then there’s no problem.

When you send your official score report, they see all your scores. Also, since I applied for sciences I think that I was supposed to take writing, and two other subjects related to my suggested major. I do hope they look at my french score rather than my chemistry one, though.

I believe that they only consider the 3 that you write on your application.
Anyway, there is nothing that you can do about this now, so there is really no point in worrying about it.

Actually, if you are desperate enough, you could re-write Chemistry in January, I think they would still accept it. They only consider 3 scores, but they SEE all of them, and since you’re applying to the School of Science, I assume the Chemistry score will be more important than the french score. You should also check which other 2 subjects are required for science majors - at most colleges they ask for math, writing and a science. Just call admissions and ask to be sure.

Thankyou for your input!
