lol nice answer :)

It’s a long shot with your SAT, but you could have something special that they find interesting.

You haven’t mentioned SATII or AP tests.

clearly you didnt waste your money if your so over-concerned about college that you decided to post your stats on an online forum for anyone to see.

yep u did, 2 kids from my school the valedictorian and saluatorian had 99.3 uw and 102+ weighted avg, 2200-2300 sats and good ecs got rejected, another kid with a 95 avg with 35 act got rejected and hes won national awards for math and stuff, another kid with a 34 on act, and 2310 on SAT 96 gpa good ecs got rejected, ----- this is also EA, and they all got rejected not even deffered… ur not gettin in sorry

You never know with MIT but you probably did waste your money. I had a 2260 SAT and a 33 act with a 35 on the math part as well as doing research at MIT and I was rejected by MIT.

I wouldn’t say you wasted it, but it’s a long shot. You’re qualified, but nothing about you stands out, and you need to stand out at colleges at which only 10% of people get admitted. Good luck!

GPA and lack of notable ECs (as well as gender) will hurt, but it was worth a shot if it’s your dream school.
