So i applied to unc ea. after rereading my app I realized i accidentally put i graduated in 2005.i called admissions and they said that they would just look at my transcript for the exact graduation date anyway.
then i was rereading my short essay and found an instance where i forgot to delete the word “was” so the sentence makes no sense. though the rest of the essay and the long one is good.
then i found out that one of my teachers put i got a 5 on my ap us in his rec when i really got a 4. my other recs should be great though.
i just failed miserably at this application thing. i havent gotten any letters or anything from unc. did i completely kill my chance at unc?

Don’t worry…I’ve messed up much worse than you on my applications (to UNC and other places) and still got in. I think the admin people expect that not ALL the apps will be 100% perfectly submitted. Most places are very understanding of that (unless you don’t lie or w/e).

Your stats look good! Are you trying to run on the XC team there? Also, what kind of school do you attend and your rank? They take that into consideration too. Good luck!

Wow, I actually have something like what you did that I just did. I had my teacher submit a recommendation, but she submitted it before I could give her that form that Carolina has you give to the teacher. Will they let me send it? Should I call them? I am frazzled!
