did i lie?

i wanted to switch my app from RD to ED2 so I emailed them. I know this is kind of redundant but I didn’t want them to think that i didn’t apply for ED1 cuz I wasn’t interested so I explained that at that time, I didn’t feel that my test score was good enough for that school and that I wanted to wait till later to take more tests. I told them I was able to bring up from 1600s to 2000s by choosing to do the regular decision(so that I had enough time to take more tests).
However, my 2000s meant 2010 superscore.my single best is 1950. I knew this school superscores so I said I brough it up from 1600s to 2000s.

Then I also remembered that I didn’t send that 1600 one. I took test three times and only sent two best ones so they won’t see how I brought my score up from 1600s o 2000s.

Did I just becom a liar? Should I send the score again just to show them that I once did have 1600s? (all the scores I sent are in 1900s)
and I can say my score is 2000s as it is when superscored right?

My app got switched from RD to ED by the email but now I am worried if Imade any of these mistake. help please!

I don’t think you lied. You did actually score in the 1600s and chose not to send that score. Schools realize that if they don’t require you to send the scores from every SAT you’ve taken, many people are not going to send your lower scores. What you did is hinted that you did have a lower score which you chose not to send, which is perfectly acceptable. If it is really bothering you, send them another e-mail explaining what you did. I’m sure plenty of people have made the same mistake you did.

^I like playing pingpong

I think that you’re trying too hard to figure out how the admissions committee is thinking, and as a result you’re doing yourself more harm than good.

The admissions department want to see your actual record. They are not remotely interested in promises of better scores and grades. And I think that some members of the admissions committee would view your letter as immature, with an excessive focus on test results. Hopefully they are too busy for that, and they will barely glimpse your letter, viewing it as normal anxiety from an applicant,

I would encourage you to send no additional letters or emails regarding the subject of test scores. If you’re retaking the SATs and you get great scores have the scores sent to them. The new scores will speak for themselves.

No, you didn’t lie.
