Did I make a mistake in my MIT maker portfolio

So my bosses at work have been helping me in mit application. They urged me to submit my work with them which I contributed seriously (fulltime btw) as a maker portfolio(a print on demand software like gelato except better).

Mit decisions are almost out and I’m wandering if I put the wrong thing on the maker portfolio. For example, I’ve worked on projects like a quantum computing programming language, a regular programming language, git from scratch(called it gitb), a self driving car with manual override from a phone, an npm library with about 2000 total downloads(it fixes a problem but a lot of people dont know about it and hence use broken libraries) and so on.

Should I have submitted one of these instead of a software like artelo which has a lot of hard parts/problems I solved but seems simple on the surface.

MIT maker portfolios are reviewed by a technical advisory board with a wide range of expertise. I’m sure they’re qualified to assess the strength of your submission.

Anyway, there’s no point worrying about this now because decisions have already been made (statistically, the most likely decision for EA at MIT is “deferred”) and the portfolio is only one small component among many other factors in the admission decision.

You’ll know on Saturday. Good luck.
