Did i make the right choice.

Last year when i applied for bs in 7th grade, i got into one school that gave us perfect amount of aid, the school had a nice campus, but… it was an all boys school because i aapplied with a program that gave me a list of schools that i should apply to. I wasn’t really intersted in all boys schools and the school didnt have all the programs i preferred but they still accepted me. do u think i made the right choice

What was your choice? Did you decide to attend or not attend the school?

i didnt attend the school

Yes, I believe that you made the right choice. The right choice means deciding what to do at the current time with the current situation.

Is your question now, should you reconsider the option…I say yes. If some time has passed and bs is still on your mind then re-consider.

Start over and reflect with where you are now and what you might want. It is always ok to reconsider and/or change your mind.

Good Luck :-)

Are you concerned that your current school is not the right choice for you?

my current school isn’t the best school to attend being a public school in new jersey, but i have the oppertunity to reapply and the school said they would accept me the following year if i decided to reconsider the option to attend the school

well like consider me its kind of hard to explain

I think this forum has an undue emphasis on the top tier ( highly endowed) schools. The reasons for wanting to go to BS are varied, and many schools that are not discussed here are great schools. The most important thing, in my mind, is finding a school that you can be happy at, because it is only when you are happy that you can truly prosper.

My daughter is at a single sex school. It has advantages and disadvantages , but in the end, the single sex thing is really not such a big deal. What does matter is the total environment. My D loves her teachers, has made great friends, and while her first choice was a top tier school, I see now everything has worked out for the best.

Also, in a few short years you will be in college. So take the best offer you have now.

You decided against the single gender school once. What has changed to make you reconsider that choice?
