Did I pick the right school?

Hi!
I picked Bucknell last year to play lacrosse and at the time I was very happy with my decision. However, now all my friends are applying to IVY’s that I had the chance to go to but turned down. Im still happy with my decision but I want to know that Bucknell is prestigious and if so how prestigious.
Thanks!

Why does it matter? You’re happy where you are, and you get to play a sport that you presumably like. Bucknell is a great school and I’m sure it has a lot of resources and things - great library, good career services, solid alumni network, great professors. If you are happy, stop paying attention to what your other friends are doing and just enjoy your life at Bucknell.

Guess how many of those high school friends you will still be in touch with 4 years from now? Guess how many will have opinions about Bucknell that you care about? Come September, your entire peer group will change - and it will consist entirely of kids who chose to come to Bucknell. Don’t second guess yourself at this point.

My daughter selected a school due to the scholarship they gave her. However she was consumed by the prestigious schools her friends were going to. She is now in her scond year and beyond happy; probably happier than her friends. Let it go. You are happy and attending a great school.

See how many of them get **accepted **to Ivies
You said you could have gone to Ivies but chose Bucknell, so remember all the reasons you chose Bucknell. You chose Bucknell and are happy there, why on earth give it another thought? Be grateful for the opportunity that is denied to so many others. It is a great school that is nationally well-known.

^Exactly
How many will get accepted? Also, Bucknell is very good and you will be fine coming out of Bucknell as long you work hard, get good grades, and apply yourself. A kid going to Yale and get a 2.5 is nothing compared to a bucknell kid with a 3.75!
