I was looking at my college’s course catalog and the assist transferable courses today. I realized that an art class that I took a while back was renamed at my college. On assist, it is labeled as transferable under the new name. It’s the same exact class, just a different name now. Even on the course catalog it says Formerly: ART __." However, I put it on my UC app as the original name because that is what shows up on my transcript. Does this class still transfer over? And was I right in putting in the original name of the class?
Yes, they want you to list the course name as it appeared in the catalog when you took it. It will transfer. Get a screenshot of the course with formerly, if concerned.
