How are you studying for the SAT? Fora lot of people it doesnt seem to be a mental plateau, but it’s more like they dont know the best way to study for it.

I usually study ony the rules for writing and math and the essential words for critical so any tips ??? I really need an 1900 on may whatever anyone of u will say I will stick to it

I definitely don’t this is your max if English is your second language. There is a lot of room to improve on both the reading and writing sections. With only two months left you should be doing reading sections every day and trying to increase your reading speed. Do you finish every question when you do a reading section? If not, you should adjust your strategy for Reading so that you focus less on the actual passage and more on the details of the questions and answers. This may help.

Also, keep learning as many writing rules as possible. You definitely have a shot at getting to 1900, and I assume you are a junior, so if that is the case you should probably consider spending a whole summer studying for the October test. Good luck!

@tsGuru so do u mean i have to solve every day one critical reading section ? so which books do u suggest for critical ??

I think you should do at least one critical reading, one math and one writing section a day. You don’t have to always time yourself at first–the key is to learn the structure of the questions and how to attack them. Then, then take a full timed practice test on the weekends once a week to measure your level while also improving your stamina.

I definitely suggest going through the Blue REAL OFFICIAL SAT" book first. If you haven’t already gone through all the questions in this book it is a MUST. Here it is…
