did I ruin my chance?

Hi, I’m just wondering if any of you guys think I still have a chance at Stanford or any other top 20 school really, here are my stats, I’ll be a junior next year. I’m assuming I can get a 4.0 GPA junior/senior year.

Freshmen Year GPA: 2.7(no honor/AP classes)
Sophomore Year GPA: 3.62(honor’s classes)

Online Classes I’m taking during summer:
Geometry
Chinese 1
Business Law
Business Economics

Junior Schedule:(Most rigorous schedule school offers)
AP Computer Science
AP Biology
AP Economics
AP English Composition
Marketing 2
Algebra 2

Online Classes I’m taking over summer:
Trig
Chinese 2
AP Psychology
AP Art History or AP

Senior Schedule:(Most Rigorous Schedule)
AP Lit
AP Calc AB(highest math available)
Honors Physics(don’t have AP physics)
AP Gov
AP US history
Chinese 3

extracurricular activity’s:
Running my own shop & Online Computer Repair Company
DECA National Finalist (for entrepreneurship)
Currently forming nonprofit to help educate students who are less fortunate then us in foreign countries.

I’m assuming I’ll be able to get a ~32-34 on the ACT have been taking prep classes and managed to get a 27 my first time, going to continue taking classes for 4hrs/week to raise my score.

My uncle attended Stanford for his MBA, but that doesn’t really effect me, my family also has many connections with previous graduates from Stanford, but then again, I don’t really see that helping, although.

So I guess, if I pull of nearly perfect grades and show much improvement and expand my business and nonprofit, is there any chance to getting in to Stanford after demolishing my Freshmen year and doing decent my Sophomore year?

I wouldn’t say you have ruined your chances since Stanford admissions are unpredictable, but your upward swing in GPA increases your chances only given that you get those 4.0’s

they “do not consider” freshman year grades, although their impression wont be good, so you it will not effect your chances entirely.

Was thesituation taken?

Yeah 4.0s junior and senior year would mean that you’re pretty much set in the GPA department. Note that this only gets you into consideration, really, provided you don’t have something else exceptional going for you (I’m not sure whether or not you fit this bill- it’s close). But yeah get like a 3.9, keep doing what you’re doing with your ECs, and you have a great shot. If Stanford doesn’t take you at that point, a comparable school will.

No. No chance.
