So, i applied to MMC about two weeks ago and i just realized for the common app under the questions and where you list how did you learn about this college i put cappex, letter and guidance counselor. but i could have put campus visit. & now im stressing that leaving that out slims my chances… am i just overreacting?

Chill.

You are overreacting, I’m pretty sure a college will not deny you because you didn’t put “campus visit.”

Yeah bro, they’re gunna reject you now. All your work will be invalidated. Prepare for your life of welfare cheques and food coupons.

Take a deep breath.

I’m quite sure that those questions are only created to determine the success rate of their marketing campaigns.

If they are going to accept you, it’s definitely going to be over something more major than the fact that you didn’t say that you learned about the school through a college visit.

These questions are for research purposes in order to improve their outreach for prospective students. I seriously doubt it will have a severe impact on your admissions chances. Besides, if you went for a campus visit, chances are they took your name down anyway.

@shawnspencer @Tiberium @ChiefTeeph thank you! i’m aware that im overreacting, just needed some reassurance.

Colleges keep files of prospective students who have visited, and (from the ones that I’ve dealt with) match those files to students’ applications once they are submitted.

As long as you officially registered for the tour with the school, you should be fine.
