Did I screw up? Concurrent enrollment

I am currently a business major at a local private university and have 1 class left to graduate. I decided I want to finish my pre-requisites for medical school so I enrolled at a local public university as a second bachelors student. Could this get me kicked out of the public university? I didn’t want to wait til January to start there because then I’d have to wait until the 2017 cycle instead of 2016 to apply to med school.

Are you intending to get a second bachelors, or was that the only option for enrolling at the public U? Most publics are happy to take non-degree students. I doubt the public U would kick you out, but I dont’ understand why you couldn’t just tell them you are actually a non-degree seeking student. It may hurt their statistics if you “drop out” of your declared degree path, but should not be an issue to be an adult learner dropping in for post-baccalaureate premed courses.
