Did I wait too long to get Recommendations?

<p>So the deadlines for most of the colleges I’m applying to aren’t until after December. But PSU recommends that I apply before Nov. 30th. </p>

<p>I’m planning on asking a teacher for a recommendation tomorrow (Yeah I know I procrastinated), and I was wondering if I will have enough time? My school uses Naviance for the recommendations and everything, so I’m guessing I won’t be able to send in the recommendation to colleges for about a week or so.</p>

<p>That is entirely up to your teacher. He or she may already have several, even a dozen or more, students in line ahead of you. Or maybe not.</p>

<p>But clearly, you have to ask. Not asking is simply not an option.</p>

<p>Don’t worry. There are no teacher recs required or requested for Penn State. There is a form the counselor completes and sends with the transcripts. Test scores are the only other thing needed.</p>
