<p>My college counselor ranked my colleges like this (chances at each would be appreciated):</p>

<p>Super Reach: Dartmouth, Cornell, Williams
Reach: Middlebury
Target: Georgetown, Colgate, Bates, Boston College, Bucknell
Likely: Lehigh, Villanova</p>

<p>you don’t seem to have many ec’s except sports… are you getting recruited for anything?
if yes, your chances go up for those super reach and reach schools. If no, then you’re just like everyone else… faced with the practice of random admission rampant in the ivy league!</p>

<p>Your ECs seem to be directed towards sports, but you have music and good SAT stats in the mix too. the published paper is good.</p>

<p>overall impressive, you’re very well-rounded, but a little more APs and more academic-oriented ECs could help.</p>

<p>I’m not familiar with Williams, Middlebury, Bates, Bucknell, Lehigh, and Villanova. But for those I am:</p>

<p>Dartmouth - mid-reach
Cornell - mid-reach
Georgetown - low- to mid- reach
Colgate - low-reach to match
Boston College - match</p>

<p>It seems like a toss-up to colleges like Dartmouth and Cornell, because you’re very advanced in some areas and not in others. Depends on what they look for, essays, recs, etc. Good luck!</p>

<p>I agree with broncosfan. Georgetown is not in the same bracket as BC, Bates, and Colgate. Otherwise it looks good!</p>

<p>Definitely potential at your reaches. I would think middlebury is just as hard as williams. Bates is right behind that group of the nescac schools</p>

<p>I’m guessing you have Mr.Lane, but yeah those are good. And Cornell isn’t a super reach, put in reach.</p>

<p>I think it is more like this:</p>

<p>Super Reach: none listed
Reach: Williams, Dartmouth
Target: Cornell, Middlebury, Georgetown
Likely: Lehigh, Villanova, Bucknell, Colgate, Bates, Boston College</p>

<p>Cornell (and Penn) have large student bodies compared to the top ivies, which means there are a lot more seats to fill. In addition, they are less in demand than HYP and are, thus, it is easier to gain admission. Cornell is a match for you, not a reach. Your SATs are more important than your GPA since your school is obviously competetive.</p>

<p>Your GPA is your major downturn. I would drop many of those super-reaches to reaches.</p>
