Did not send FAFSA and Uchicago did not ask about it? Screwed?

<p>Long story short -I just sent in my FAFSA today. However, UChicago never e-mailed me about the missing stuff.</p>

<p>Is this a sign of rejection?</p>

<p>Financial aid and admissions are done independently, as UChi is a need blind school. Most likely the adcom does not even know/care about your missing FAFSA. However, your chances of getting financial aid if you are accepted are severely diminished. Call the office of college aid asap and ask what can be done.</p>
