<p>Is it just me or did the character count for the short answers go from 1400-1500, 1400-1500, 1300-1400 to 1500-1600, 1500-1600, and 1400-1500? Maybe I am just crazy.</p>

<p>Yeah. I noticed that too. It really helped me out. I’d been flirting with 1500 for the first two short answers - now I have some breathing room.</p>

<p>whoah - such lucky timing, too. my long essay was around 5000 chars, according to their counts, but now i don’t have to completely massacre it, as i would have with the 500 char difference.</p>
