Did you go to college and find that it wasn't academically rigorous enough?

That classes were too small? Too large? Professors weren’t interested in teaching? Professors were poor teachers? Too many TAs?

The school didn’t offer the classes you wanted? Hard to get the classes you wanted?

Is it hard to graduate in 4 years?

Your fellow students weren’t smart enough? Too nerdy?

Not enough extra-curricular activities?

Not enough research opportunities?

School spirit?

Location was great? City? Urban? Do you spend a lot of time off campus?

Parties awesome? Is the opposite sex attractive? Easy? ;)

Does/Did the school help or hurt your future dream prospects?

Hmm, I went to the University of Wisconsin for college and while most of these disappointments didn’t apply, I would say that UW lacked quality advising and that was probably its most significant shortcoming.

So would you have preferred to go someplace else?

You might want to post this in the parents forum. You will get far more significant responses there as most of are current college students, not graduates.

k thanks…

moved it to the parents forum

Awesome. Parents at that forum love to talk about their experiences. You should get some very significant responses. :)

actually, I’m a STUDENT who can’t stand the apathy at my school. Academic, yes, but more specifically the lack of any desire and drive to succeed in life. One of the (many) reasons why I’m transferring.

BMWdude35, what school are you talking about?

Purdue’s EE department mostly suffered from some bad and uninterested professors.
