<p>I just joined the mailing list for U Chi. and I was wondering if it will help make me look “good” to the addmissions people, cause it reflects my strong interest in the university. Do you think it even matters or will it make a slight difference?</p>

<p>you know what, joining the mailing list DOESNT HURT. do it…we have no idea what the admissions officers view as having interest. but it DOES get your name in the system someway.</p>
<p>brooke_u: when u go to the U of Chi website under “Contact us” there’s a link on the left hand side that says “Join our Mailing List”</p>
<p>I plan on applying under eary action, so I figured joining the mailing list might give me an eage.</p>
