Did you know? Discounts and Freebies

I thought it might be interesting to share some of our favorite freebies and discounts that some of us might not know about.

2 of my favorites:

Goldstar.com - amazing discounts for all sorts of live events (theater, boat tours, city scavenger hunts) - no membership requirements, and a really decent selection, if you’re within their different cities.

Museums on Us - if you’re a BofA credit card holder, or have a BofA bank account, there is a program they offer where you can receive one free admission to a slew of museums throughout the country, just by showing your card (credit card or debit card).
What are some of your favorites?

Best discount I know of is the Golden Age passport and similar. It is for SRs 65+
And allows them unlimited access to US national parks and monuments. It is a one time fee of $10. It also allows the while car of the SR in at no charge.

McDonald’s offers SR coffee or soft drinks at reduced prices, once you reach 50 or 55, forget which. You also get 10% off at Ross on Tuesdays if you are 55+.

Well, dang, “just a Mom” – wish I’d known of that Bank of America program back when we had a mortgage with them. Very cool.

HImom, the National Parks senior passport is actually available at age 62, not 65. It is indeed a fabulous deal! We’ve used it this year and it works as you describe.

Lots of movie theaters give senior discounts if you ask. Different age requirements-- it’s amazing how quickly we arrived at this milepost… :)

We had a thread on this many moons ago. Can’t search from my phone but it probably had the word freebies, deals or coupons in the title. It had a ton of info.
