Didn't add courses to my self-reporting application, what do I do?

Hey guys, I’m a newly admitted student and I was looking through my application and I saw that for my 10th grade I didn’t add a couple of courses. They were art, music, technology (nutrition), P.E. and lastly, project activities. Some of them are weird ik, im an international student. Either way, in all of the courses I had 10/10, but because in the UC application there was no option for those courses in the drop down menu (and I cant press on social sciences and put in stuff like art or nutrition) I just didn’t add them (if I could have I would have because they boost my gpa). Should I inform them of this or will it be fine? The grades are good, so I don’ think it will be a problem, but I am not very knowledgeable about how UCLA reacts to those things.

There should be an update form to fill out in your UCLA student portal. PE courses are non a-g courses so those do not need to be reported. Art, Music, Nutrition are usually categorized as a-g courses so those should have been reported. Project activities that is questionable and may depend upon what you did in that course.

Here is a link to an update form: Contact Us | UCLA Undergraduate Admission

Get this taken care prior to them receiving and reviewing your final transcripts.

Thanks! What are a-g courses and how are they different from non a-g courses?

All of the courses that I mentioned were pass/fail (in 9th grade they even said the word pass/fail). Now they say 2 if you failed and 10 if you passed, you dont get any other grades. And because I couldnt add them to the course list due to them not fitting any descriptions, my advisor told me to leave them out (she is not an advisor from the school, just someone who helped me with apps). The project thing was an entire year project and you got one grade after it was presented, its only my school that does it, i have never heard of anyone else doing this.

A-G courses are basically core courses that the UC’s require to meet eligibility requirements. Here are the UC required A-G courses:

Non A-G courses are courses like PE and Health.

Nutrition usually falls under Category G which is College prep electives.

The project course sounds like a Senior project which would be probably Non A-G course especially since it is HS specific. These courses should not be an issue if accidentally omitted but definitely update admissions since they will compare your application to your final transcript.
