I live in Cupertino, in California. I haven’t gotten any sort of uWash postal mail yet. Am I rejected?

has your unofficial UW transcript loaded?

I don’t think you have been rejected because you have not recieved mail, since both rejection and acceptance have already been recieved. I believe that gpa may possibly be a major determinant in acceptances. I have a 3.55 UW gpa and my stats seems to be on par with UDub, but it seems as though my gpa may just not make the cut…

Just hope for the best…it is completely out of our hands at this point! Good luck :)

OMG I live in Cupertino too! Anyways, don’t worry until you get the letter… If you can’t wait, try to see if your unofficial transcript loads up on myuw ([MyUW Welcome](http://myuw.washington.edu)). Click on admissions on the left and ‘Unofficial UW Transcript’ on the right. If it loads up, there’s a good chance you made it. If not, it’s hard to say until you get the letter. Good luck! :)

It doesn’t mean you have been rejected, but as the other poster suggested, if your GPA was below 3.6, you may have just not made the cut.

Hello guys, do international students get their decision by mail rather online?

Nope, the UW unofficial transcript doesn’t load up. Looks like I got rejected?

@beamers don’t jump to conclusions! mine just loaded this evening so yours may still take some time!

There are also other factors that contribute to admission at uw. Even though your GPA is kind of low, but you have a pretty good test score. As long as your extracurricular and your essay/course-load is good you still have a chance.

No, you still have a chance! My friend is a recruited athlete and hasn’t gotten his letter. The coach personally called in Febtuary saying his acceptance was certain and plan on attending UW this fall!

Please read other threads here…

Transcripts have been loading for some. My friend’s wasn’t loading for a while and just loaded yesterday so it seems they are rolling them out. Its not all at once. Hang in there!

I just called the admissions office and their canned message was that not all freshman admissions letters have even been mailed yet. That’s great, isn’t it? I’m so tired of stalking the mailbox, I’m starting to lose interest. It just feels to me like these schools who do this, dragging decision notifications out until the bitter end of March, are just trying to create buzz and it’s a big power play. You can’t tell me they couldn’t mass mail them all on March 15. Or, better yet, post decisions online. Hello, did that technology not make it so far north yet? Plus, for those of us out of state, if we want to try to schedule a visit, every day that they make us wait, the airfares get more expensive, because spring break is only two weeks away! Sorry for the rant, but the pressure must be getting to me…

If somebody has been rejected, does their transcript load?

My transcript loads and they issued me an ID number but I still have not received a letter!!

I completely agree with you FlyGuy60108!
arizonaKid94 I am pretty sure that you are awaiting your acceptance letter. I see no reason for creating an unofficial transcript for a student who the university has rejected. Besides, my unofficial transcript has yet to load.

@justhoping123 i’m on the same boat as arizonakid94. does your major says “pre major”

@twoemotions on the transcript? If so, my transcript has not loaded.

I’ve begun dreading checking the mailbox every day when I get home from school because of how much I’ve been worrying/obsessing over whether or not my letter will be there. I really just wish that the decisions had been released in one painless online process (like most schools nowadays, might I add). The fact that some (most? who even knows) kids already know whether or not they are accepted or denied while I am completely in the dark is really stressing me out haha.

@Flyguy Thanks for the news…I wouldn’t have guessed that they still had letters to mail. Great. I’m in the same boat with the added stress of airlines jacking up their prices as spring break approaches.
