Didn't use all the lines for essay

Hey everyone,

On the last weekend’s essay for the writing section, I used John F. Kennedy’s Profiles in Courage and the current Congress as examples of why those who think alike get along better. The problem is, I did not use all of the lines. I wrote four well written paragraphs, opening, two bodies, and a closing, but had two-four lines left, if I recall.

Will this lower my score?

P.S. I have small handwriting.

No, I highly doubt that would lower your score.

It is true that the more you fill up the lines, the chance your score will be higher, but it is still possible to receive a good grade without filling up both pages. SO DONT WORRY

Umm… doesn’t writing less improve your score, since the graders only have so much time (90 seconds, right?) to read your essay?

^Not at all. Length is always a plus for the SAT essay (unless you ramble on about something completely irrelevant just to fill up space).

Yeah, length is definitely a plus, but it definitely doesn’t necessitate a higher score. If you wrote a quality four paragraphs as you said, you should be fine.
