Differed..

What are the realistic changes of getting accepted after you see the daunting word “DIFFERED” when friday comes around?

It’s deferred.

Differed is when something is different from something else.

As for the answer to your question, I have no idea. Does UF do this often?

Unlikely that UF will be taking many from the deferred list. They will be getting a very high yield this year.

There won’t be any deferments this year. When you are deferred, you are bumped to the next decision period to have your application reviewed again. Considering there won’t be any more decision periods, there won’t be any deferrals.

However, there might be a waiting list, but I don’t think that is very likely for the same reason seiclan mentioned.

But because of the high yield, they will admit less and put more on the waitlist to see what happens. If there is a lower yield than expected, many will be chosen from the list.

Yeah, I’ve heard there will be people waitlisted.

This year is very strange. I agree with DVM, they have to admit less and use a waitlist. What happens if they accept 10000 and 8200 show up instead of the expected 6700? Times are uncertain and money is tight. In-state is looking better every day.

differed… lol sorry.

Differed… yeah. Lol. I love how you used daunting in the same sentence as well.

lmao…!

The results will differ… some will be accepted… a few rejected… others “differed” :(
