Should I take both?

My SAT= 1900s-2100s
My ACT= 29-30s

I’m studying for both, but what do you think? Which looks better? Should I study both?

You’re in virtually the same percentiles for both, so I’d go with whichever you’re more comfortable with. Also, you might want to consider where you’re applying; in the mid-west, the ACT is more prevalent, whereas the SAT is the more common choice amongst Eastern and Western schools.

Well I have a LOT of SAT books. But I discovered the ACT like a month ago? And now I am studying for both…

I’m applying for either Ivy leagues or cali schools, so I guess SAT it is (:

West is pretty ACT heavy. Honestly, it doesn’t matter as most colleges take both and consider them equally.

Highly possible I won’t be gong to cali.
But I really want to go to columbia. So SAT.

Plus does anyone know really good online sites that can raise my points? I score about mind 600s on all sections.

^ All US colleges/universities take the SAT and ACT and consider them on equal playing fields.

Good luck getting into columbia…i suggest buying more SAT books

Since your percentages are the similar in both tests, it is up to you like people have been saying. Studying for the SAT is mainly about learning tricks to beat the test. Studying for the ACT is more about learning the content.

Buying more SAT prep books won’t help. And thanks for the sarcasm.

Thank you for the site! It’s really helpful (:

There are differences between the SAT and the ACT, but the above is both simplistic and untrue.
