Difference between A's and A-'s

<p>In my soph and junior years my A’s all had no minuses, and a few had plusses. I know that this won’t mean anything at a lot of schools (UCs, etc) but do the top private schools pay any attention minuses and plusses?</p>

<p>an A is an A… Grades and test scores are only half the battle in the top privates</p>

<p>In high school – no difference… A+, A, A- = 4.0</p>

<p>In college:</p>

<p>A or A+ = 4.0, A- = 3.75,
B+ = 3.50, B = 3.0, B- = 2.75,
C+ = 2.50, C = 2.0,
etc.</p>
