<p>CMS is a humanities major, studying texts, media sociology, fandom, etc analytically. </p>
<p>MAS is learning by building and deploying (rather than analyzing) media tools / websites / art creations / etc. </p>
<p>Loosely, one is more like engineering, one is more like the sociology of engineering.</p>
<p>Thank you very much! In that case, Media Arts and Sciences would be an interesting field of study for me. ;)</p>
