Difference between SAT 1 and 2?

Hey guys!

I just have a few questions not long so please take consideration into reading it and answer the question if you can.

a)What is the difference between SAT 1 & 2?

b)If I want to become a Physicist in the future, what subjects should I be taking at high school?

c)To become a Physicist, What course should I be looking into at Harvard/MIT?Also To get into those courses what SAT tests do I have to do?

d)I am an International Student from New Zealand therefore I do not have alot of knowledge in this SAT and Harvard area.

Please answer my questions because I am in desperate need of this information.
P.S When a question is answered there might be more questions coming from me so…keep to date :P

SAT1 is The Reasoning test and SAT2 is the former name of SAT subject tests,e.g. Math level2,U.S. History,Biology. You’ll need to take them both for consideration in Harvard or MIT.

yeah as olzhas said . The SAT2 is now called SAT subject tests.

Oh I see I see… But I’ve got another question that I would like to know :P

As said before I want to get in to Physics side in Harvard/MIT. To become a Physicist. Right now at high school I am taking English,Maths,Physics,Chemistry,History and Classical Studies(Greek Mythology etc.) Next year I will be continuing the first 4 subjects but dropping Classical Studies for Maths Calculas and I think that normal Maths turns into a either Calculas or Statistics therefore I got another free slot for another subject. What should I take? Name the Subject and I will try to tell you guys if there is the subject in my school.

OH ANOTHER THING (:P) To get into the Physics side in Harvard/MIT What subject tests should I take also could you be more specific on what you mean by SAT 1; Reasoning test? As in what do you do…is it english only or what?

“get into the Physics side” =Major in Physics
Interesting wording

Hahaha! Yeah well Im from New Zealand the phrase “Major in Physics” usually isnt used around here. What we will say is… “Degree in Physics” or “Physics related course” etc.

Major in Physics does make more sense but if that means that I want to get the degree in Physics/Chemistry/Maths then I guess its what I mean :P
