<p>Do employers care about a certificate? I know a minor does not matter a whole lot to an employer. I am a civil engineering major and I am thinking about completing an emphasis area in fluids. This would give me a certificate.</p>
<p>If you want a job related to fluids then yeah, it’ll help. Not so much the fact that you have a certificate, but the fact that you’ve taken several classes in it.</p>
