Different IB predicted grades

I am an IB student, and we just got our senior midyear reports back. For some reason they are different than junior year reports. At the end of junior year, we got the reports back and we had predictions by subjects. Like: biology - 7, english - 7 and so on. Total was written 42/45. Now my midterm report card doesn’t show subject predictions, only the total 42/45. Is that bad? I don’t really understand why our school decided to just not put the individual subject predictions in, My IB coordinator said that it should be fine, and if colleges want to get more information about what grades I have, they will contact the school. What is your opinion on this?

Also, the senior year grades are exactly the same as junior year grades. I didn’t get senioritis, so maybe the total will be enough to show that? what is your opinion on this?

My opinion is that your school should provide the subject breakdown. Many, if not most colleges will ask for it, so why make admissions take the extra step?!?

I have already bothered the IB coordinator a lot about this, and I don’t want to write to her again since I tried to say that it might be better to have subject by subject breakdown. I’m not sure what else I can do to. Would this impact the admissions decision in a negative way?

Also, the subject by subject breakdown would be exactly the same as in my junior year…

It won’t impact you, but admissions might lose patience with your school. As an analogy, admissions doesn’t want a transcript that simply says 3.79.

The counselor should at least indicate that there is no change in the subject breakdown
