Difficult Schedule Choice

<p>My Schedule next year looks like this:</p>

<p>AP Gov and Normal Econ
Forensic Science
AP Environ. Science
AP Calc AB
Class at local CC
AP Literature</p>

<p>I earlier wanted to take women’s lit but I have schedule conflicts and I can’t take that class, instead of being put stuck in english 12 I decided to take AP Lit. However I realize the huge amount of work that is required for AP Lit and now I’d rather go back to taking a normal english class. Will taking one less AP class hurt me? I feel pressured to take at least 4 because of the competitiveness in my school but then I know the amount of work required for AP Lit is too much for me. What should I do? Drop it/keep it? By the way I want to get into UCLA/UCB.</p>

<p>Having one less AP will not be the deciding factor in your admissions decision. If you feel that you’d be able to do a better job on your apps by not taking AP Lit, or if you feel that it would interfere with your grades in other classes or with your ECs, then don’t take it.</p>
