See, it’s doing it for you to!

Let me try something:

wi****l

wiful

EDIT: what is it about the first word that it’s getting blocked?

Let me try something:

wi****l

wiful

EDIT: what is it about the first word that it’s getting blocked?

wi*l wi*l

wi****l

w i s t f u l

I think it’s being blocked out because it says s.t.f.u

i agree with kb…haha

lol S T F U hahahah

yeah one of the answers was wi****l. Also another tough question (might’ve been experimental) was mercurial–luckily I had already seen it before

Am i the only one here that things that this questions gave a sense of deja vu. I mean i remember having a question about mercurial on my june 2006 SAT (almost exact same wording); and I also had a passage about boats and canoing on my PSAT. Also I did a practice test (on the online course) the night before, about something very similar to the astronomy question.

No, not all of us take SATs for fun. Just kidding…

The mercurial question was not experimental.

was “wi****l” experimental? i dont remember putting that…

i remember i put the Wi****l one …but i dont rmb it is experimental or now…

What was wist ful an answer to? An SC or a reading question? Anyone recall other choices to that question?

i remember a choice “wi****l” in the passage, but i didn’t choose it. i think it was for lewis’ tone describing heavens. i said “ironic.” was that the question? ionno

wist ful is a choice in SC. probably experimental section but i put down that. …hehe

I remember putting ironic as his tone, but I don’t recall ‘wist ful’ at all…

do you remember what the SC was about?

i think we basically covered all of nonexp. CR (thanks to ajkcorner lol): lewis, hispanic, comic, black people and the arts, “cool” as slang, empty space and overpopulation…
OH THE VENUS! : 1. “astronomical enigma” was the purpose of passage
2. “pure carbon dioxide atmosphere” was what venus couldn’t have if it matched the descriptions in passage 1
3. “2 distinct theories” was the second paragraph’s purpose
4. “previous info was unreliable” is what the Wanderer 2 rocket implied
5. what was the purpose of the 1st sentence (the astronomers assumed Venus would have same atmosphere since same size as Earth)- i said “to disclaim a possible supposition”

SC: besides flotsam, mercurial, bucolic, i remember “divisive…___” (about the revolutionaries), “succinct…enlightened” <–copied from official thread

for the rocket one im not sure but i think i put another answer…errrr

i agree with all others

and i think i missed bucolic…or probably i skipped it. all others give me confidence hahaha great

yeah i hope someone posts SC soon…? who remembers?
out of all 3 sections, there were probably 24 sc total. just want to confirm them so bad…lol.
if i get one more cr wrong, i drop 40 pts. insane. i really hope i dont.

For those of us who haven’t taken it yet, do you remember any of the experimental vocabulary words because they will certainly show again soon!

this is my first test i think i screwed up the writing but did well on the math and ok on cr so i have no idea what to expect

anyone take PSAT?

I thought the vocab was insanely hard. And I’m good at vocab. :(

I thought the harder ones were actually the middle ones…like I just didn’t even get what they wanted me to fill in with the blank.
