My son would like a college that offers similar access to digital media production that he has enjoyed in high school. Many schools offer this, but the catch is that they want you to be an art or media major in order to take courses and have access to the labs. My son expects to major in an academic field, but digtal film and photgraphy are major hobbies he wants to continue. The websites of the various schools are quite vague regarding access to their technology, so it’s been hard to get an accurate picture.Any suggestions from students or parents are welcome.

I’m going to be studying digital media/multia media and have been looking a t schools to apply to in the fall. Most schools have this major under their communications department so I’ll end up with a bachelors in commnications. I know at many colleges, Fordham for instance, he could minor in digital media and major in academics but I’m sure he knows that. The problem will be he’s having so much fun in media you’ll never get him back to anything alse. :)
