Is Digital Media a good major? Digital Media/ Television Production to be exact… do you know any one in this field?
Digital Media is an GREAT major. I am a sophomore at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Here at Marist, we have a Digital Media program, as well as a Media Studies and Production program with concentrations in either TV/Film or Interactive Media. The awesome thing about Marist is that double majoring/minoring in these fields is super easy, so you can mix and match and make the perfect degree that suits you best.I am actually a double major in Digital Media and Communications with a concentration in Advertising, and I can tell you first hand that I’m loving my experience. Marist has tons of great connections, especially in NYC, which is just a train ride away and filled to the brim with internship opportunities. So, to answer your question, I’d definitely go with Digital Media or Media Studies, and I would definitely pursue it at Marist College.
My CC name is short for DIGital MEDIA. The major can cover such a broad range of specializations (and you might not know what you’ll find as your passion until you begin). I like @livelovelyss double major approach.
I believe it is a good major. I’ve got a friend who have been in the TV industry although locally but she’s been making the most out of it. She’s been able to travel in different countries because of her job and I believe she’s doing great at it as how it has been doing great on her as well.
