dilemma for legacy

Ok, so in Hs i mainly just played video games and partied, so i didnt get into PSU main as a fresh…

I am at SUNY albany in my 2nd semester, with a rougly 3.5 gpa fall semester and same 2nd semester… I came here with the notion of transferring to PSU after my 2nd year here, since psu requires 60 credits…

I HATE IT HERE, I can’t go back for another semester…, at the same time, I can’t go to PSU in the fall, but with summer classes, I can go in spring.

Here’s the dilemme, I got into UCONN and Maryland, with UCONN, i have housing, with UMD, i have to get an apartment/waitlist for dorming. (However, the buildings at albany are so ****ty im not getting the “dorm experience”)

My dad, sister, uncle, etc, went to Penn State… I know UMD/PSu are identical, but i really want to go to PSU…

So, do I go to UMD/UCONN and stay there, or do a semester at one of the two(Fall 07) and then transfer to PSU for spring 07? I myself am thinking this is too much change, yet ive wanted to go to PSU my whole life… Just the family tradition thing…

Opinions? i HATE albs

My cousin got the same thing with UMD despite having a 4.0 GPA. She’s going to Penn State. Cant go wrong with UConn though. If you want to go to Penn State, go.

thats what its looking like (if i get in)
