Hello, this is a question aimed specifically at people who know about actuarial science. Do you think it would be a better idea to go to St. Johns’ College of Insurance which is accredited by the society of actuaries as a “center of actuarial excellence”, or do you think I should transfer to Brandeis and major in math and self-study for the actuarial exams one-by-one. St. Johns gives you credit or directly covers the first 4 exams while you’re an undergrad. Off-topic, but do you think actuaries or mathematicians have better career growth in the future and also for which of the two is it easier to find work?

You should re-post this in the Parents Forum. Re-word it a bit, and give it a more clear title along the lines of “Actuarial Science or Math Major?” so that it attracts the attention of people who know about the issues that you need help with.

Good luck!
