Dilemma

Hey Guys,

I have no idea what to do as of date. I want to study business and recently got accepted to UPenn, Stanford, Harvard, and Chapman University in Socal. My GF of 2 years is going to Chapman and I don't know if I should go to the more prestigious schools for my study or go to Chapman. Does Chapman have a good business program? I don't know what to do at this point, this sucks.

Troll......

I've been lurking on this site for awhile, but never really got a chance to post since I didn't really have anything to say. But whatever, thanks for the warm welcome.

Go to U Penn for business or Harvard...

Um, you're missing a true diamond in the rough. You need to attend Compton Community College in Compton, California. Compton boasts the highest per capita abortion rate in the nation. It also has a high per capita murder rate, with 15-20 drive-by shootings for every 100 people.

I was thinking about going East and having her transfer. Shes not that smart though, I figure she could pull a 3.6 at Chapman...would that be good enough for a transfer student to UPenn or Harvard as Undeclared?

If shes not that smart, and couldn't make it as a freshman, she won't make it as a transfer to Harvard OR Upenn. It's just going to get harder.

If it comes down to a choice between schools, choose based on what's best for you, everything else comes second IMO.

Let your gf go to Chapman, while you should go to one of the better schools on your list (read: not Chapman).

Just my opinion.
IB

You hear of these cases all the time: student gets into elite school, but chooses to go to college with his/her boyfriend/girlfriend. They break up within a month. If you know what's good for you, you will not go to Chapman. As for the other three schools, I don't know which one is best for business but whichever one you go to I'm sure you will get a really good education and be very successful: all of them are amazing.

Did you get into Wharton? If so, go there. If not, go to Harvard.

I would go to Harvard. You cannot limit yourself no matter what. I'm sure you tried hard and gave alot of effort to get into those schools you got into, and by your own right, you should finally reap rewards of those efforts and take full advantage of the oppurtunity.

If you really want to consider your gf in this decision, you should go to Stanford. Chapman is in SoCal, and Stanford is in NorCal(??)...atleast you all will be in the same state within driving distance, you wouldn't be limiting your educational opportunities by having a "what-if" in your life just in case you and your gf break up.

I think you should go to the more prestigious schools cos you'll have two things to gain.
1. a good education in buisness;
2. if you really love you GF and she loves you too, you cherish whenever you come back for break and see each other but if you are in the same school, you'll see each other too often and you'll take somethings for granted and she might leave you.

Chapman? NO WAY! Don't do it for your girlfriend....you'll regret it....

Penn or Harvard or Stanford....they're all fab choices. NOT CHAPMAN
