Is it worth sending a third batch of scores out to some higher ivy leagues like yale harvard princeton if the sitting score is rather low, but in combination with my other two sittings, will raise my composite score by 40 points?

Maybe it’s just me but I think 40 pts DO matter. But that’s for speaking in general colleges. I’m not sure about Ivy League schools. Maybe try to find out for general SAT score range? If you already have all the sections in that range, I think it’s wasteful to send another one.

wouldn’t hurt a lot except $9(or is it $18?) wouldn’t be really helpful though, I’d have rather sent them, just instictive thing—u know what I’m talking about! :D

Admissions officers say they look at the trend if there’s many tests (interpreted however you wish–I think three or more). So after sending in the third scores, it’s possible they’d just say your usual is 780/750/700, since you got 780 math twice, 700 verbal twice, and avg of writing is around 750, rather than saying you got 800/790/700 like they would now. That’s 2230 instead of 2290. But who really knows? lol
